BUET admission test result revealed that 3 of the top four are from Notre Dame
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Graduation Admission Test Results have been published. The results were published on BUET's admissions website on Friday (November 26). The final list and the waiting list have been published simultaneously.
According to the results, Meftahul Alam Siam became the first in the admission test of BUET's Engineering and URP department. His roll number in admission test is 50615. Moreover, a student named Nabila Tabassum has become the first in the admission test of the Department of Architecture. Her roll number in the admission test is 90319.
Anik Saha of Notre Dame College also bagged the second place in Engineering and URP category. Anik was also the first boy in their class. Besides, he got 18th position in the medical college admission test.
According to the published results, M. Samin Salek has got the third position. He is also a student of Notre Dame College. Abrar Assaim Fouad, another student of Notre Dame College, came fourth.
Earlier, Siam, a student of Bogra Government Azizul Haque College, bagged the third place in the integrated admission test of three engineering and technology universities. In addition, Siam ranked 59th in the merit list in this year's medical admission test and first place in the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) admission test.
This time BUET has taken admission test in two steps. The pre-selection examination was held on October 20 and 21 in four shifts considering the epidemic situation. 18 thousand 5 admitted students participated in it.
There, 6,000 candidates with the highest marks were selected for the final examination. The final admission test was held on November 6 amid the transport strike. Even during the strike, 5,944 out of 6,000 students took part in the final examination.
The first 1,215 candidates in the final round will be given the opportunity to be admitted in 12 departments of BUET.
